William M. Bartnick, ED.D., NCSP

Dr. Bartnick is a nationally certified School Psychologist licensed in Florida. He holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Florida and a Masters in School Psychology from Florida International University. His baccalaureate study of Psychology was completed at the University of South Florida. For over twenty years, Dr. Bartnick has provided evaluation and counseling services to children of all ages, adults, and families. His areas of special interest and expertise include learning disabilities, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorders, and behavioral difficulties. His broad range of experience includes extensive work with gifted children, the impact of divorce on children, grief counseling, and the challenges of the adolescent/parent relationship.

Brittany V. Kauffmann, Ed.S., NCSP

Ms. Brittany Kauffmann is a nationally certified School Psychologist licensed in the State of Florida. She received her Educational Specialist degree from the University of Central Florida in 2002 and her Baccalaureate in Psychology from UCF in 1998. For the past nineteen years, she has practiced school psychology in both the public schools and in private practice. Brittany's areas of special interest and expertise include; Learning Disabilities, Attention Disorders, Gifted, Autism Spectrum Disorders, behavioral modification and individual/group counseling for a wide range of needs: divorce, anxiety, depression, crisis and bereavement.

Jennifer Utsey, Ed.S., NCSP

Jennifer Utsey is a nationally certified School Psychologist. She received her Bachelor's of Science in psychology from the University of Florida and went on to complete her Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology at the University of Central Florida. Mrs. Utsey is a dual practitioner, working in both the public school setting and private practice. She serves as a consultant for Project Bridges at UCF, which provides funding for scholars to engage in courses leading to either a Master's in Exceptional Student Education or an Educational Specialist in School Psychology. Her areas of particular interest and expertise include learning disabilities, gifted, autism spectrum, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorders.

Britney Beard, Ed.S.

Britney Beard is a certified School Psychologist working as a dual practitioner in both the public-school setting and private practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. After spending ten years in the public education system as a Professional School Counselor with teaching experience, she obtained her Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from UCF and transitioned into the position. Britney’s areas of special interest and expertise include learning disabilities, gifted, autism spectrum disorders, and attention difficulties, as well as individual/group counseling for a wide range of needs like anxiety, self-esteem, depression, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and social skills.

Jennifer Friedman, Ed.S., NCSP

Ms. Jennifer Friedman is a nationally certified School Psychologist. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Colorado State University and went on to complete her Master of Arts in Special Education and her Specialist of Education in School Psychology at the University of Colorado at Denver. For the past twenty-three years, Jennifer has practiced school psychology in both the public schools and in private practice. Her areas of particular interest and expertise include learning disabilities, attention disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and gifted, as well as individual/group counseling for a wide range of needs including emotional regulation, mindfulness, anxiety, depression, anger management and social skills

Speech/Language Pathologists

All services are provided by a Board Certified and Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist. Parents have the opportunity to learn therapy techniques and carry them over into daily routines, helping to increase the effectiveness of therapy.

Our Speech and Language Pathologists are members of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and are board certified. They offer a wealth of diagnostic and therapeutic services for preschool through high school age children. They have extensive expertise in the areas of in-depth speech/language evaluations and interventions for children with mild to severe speech/language and communication deficits, focusing on these areas: articulation difficulties, language developmental delays, receptive and expressive language skills, stuttering, and communication problems associated with autism.
